Rehemption was born in the heart of the Cannabis and Hemp industry in South Africa.
Although the international Hemp and Cannabis industry is well established, these relevant industries in Africa are in their infancy and dictated by poor decision-making and abysmal regulatory practices that undermine access to a prevalent industry. Gaps in the value chain and market cause poorer outcomes and access to the market from cultivation to end user.
Our solution is to be a self-sufficient and industry-leading Hemp & Cannabis pioneers, creating access and infrastructure for the rest of the industry to follow suit. The barriers to entry can be negated through sufficient capital, access to the market in agricultural sectors, production processing, value chain marketing and relations.

Richard Dennehy - CEO
Richard is a skilled and ardent cannabis enthusiast with immense knowledge. He has seven years of expert experience in the cannabis industry. He completed a certified course in cannabis at Cheeba Academy, endorsed by the University of Limpopo and Medical Marijuana 411. Richard is a visionary in the cannabis industry and will be taking this industry to new "heights".
Gideon van der Schyff - BDO
Gideon is qualified as a Senior Architectural Technologist, Building Inspector, Project Manager and Senior Design Draughtsman. During his career, he invented quite a number of new ventures and ideas that are fresh and inspiring. Gideon has been involved in the cannabis sector for the past 5 years and has played an integral role in the development of the industry and assisting businesses to get established and facilitate offtakes.
Turker Kurun - CTO
Türker is a highly skilled individual with a background in design, brand strategy, marketing and program development. Through his extensive work on HIV/AIDS, Türker won an award at the International AIDS conference for developing a revolutionary educational application. He also has seven years of experience in the cannabis industry, with an ambitious focus on genetics and breeding. He completed a certified course with the highest achievement in cannabis at Cheeba Academy, endorsed by the University of Limpopo and Medical Marijuana 411.
